Yes, the X920BT is the best unit in that price range by a long shot.

The only two units I would say are better are the Z120BT and maybe the Kenwood DNX9960, both of which are hundreds more.

The bt at the end of the model name indicates that it has built in Bluetooth capabilities.

The Z120BT has 4v preamp outputs, a larger motorized screen (which may be a negative if you have the automatic transmission) and that's pretty much it. They're both running the same software, and the nearly identical internal hardware.

The X920BT, since it doesn't have the motorized face, is easier to get a trim ring to fill in any gaps around it, so that's always a plus.

Whats ur advice for a radio install virgin like myself?
Should i try doing it myself or take it into a audio shop?
(it'd b awesome 2 do it myself but @ the same time i dont wanna
mess things up)
.......keep in mind that I'm also gonna do the OEM NaV conversion so i can
watch videos, etc...

I'd assisted quite a few in popping their radio install cherries in this car, the 03-04s are slightly more difficult, but there's DIY videos (thank bythabay) for that year.

If you can handle a soldering gun, and actually read the install manuals and tips on this board, it's pretty easy. I'd say 4 out of 10 on the difficulty scale.

What do you mean by OEM nav conversion? Your new headunit will do videos just fine, there's no reason to spend a few hundred more to use the nav display. I just use mine to watch gas mileage and remind me when oil changes are due.

Awwww...sounds like imma have to bring it into the shop afterall, i have no experience @ all w soldering. My grandpa is awesome @ all this stuff+ the soldering
wish he was here 2 help!!!

And ur right about the nav display. guess i was just starting 2 get a little
carried away.

Got about $1K budget so i guess keeping the nav as is should keep me under budget...
Question bout the x920. Might b dumb question but how do rear usb inputs work?
Im guessing u have to buy a usb wire/adapter thing of some sort?

Rear usb just means it has a cable in the rear you can put anywhere - I chose the glovebox so that whatever's plug into it can be locked in there.
