Are you positive this wouldn't work with my headunit that does NOT come with Satellite radio?

let me know, im interested if it will in fact work

Join the club :/ Although this will pay for itself from all the CD's you would have to stop buying and burning to play on the OEM radio

Who "pays" for CDs anymore?

i have this same one adapter and the steering control do not work! but the text and the ability to control it from the head cd unit or the ipod itself does work perfectly!

I think if you have the OEM Sirius XM box and antenna. Should be a little fin on top the roof of the car towards the rear windshield. Whenever you select the radio button and switching from AM to FM1 to FM2 the next one should be SAT which means your XM compatible and then you can scroll down to IPOD or AUX1/2 with this adapter installed.

I will be selling the OEM Sirius XM adapter as well once everything is out of my car friday.
