Bought this used and ended up just buying a headunit and DD kit. It's in great condition and comes with all the connectors and cables. Would be a cheap way to add a amp to your factory head unit and get great sound.

If you don't know what cleansweep does, it digitally "cleans" the incoming signal of any mess created by the factory head unit and sends a excellent signal to your amp so you get a great sound that would otherwise be further distorted.

did you ever install this or move on to the other DD right away? I was just wondering how much of a difference it made over the stock head unit.

 

I only powered it up and tested each channel individually. not enough time to notice a difference over stock, but that was also because I was using stock speakers.

this is meant for someone who wants to get an amp and replace their ****ty speakers too.

without this your new speakers will sound pretty bad compared to what they could sound like.

Would this install before or after the factory amp?

 

before, you tap into the 4 channels the radio is putting out and then you can plug a normal amp into it, not that funky bose crap.
