Angry Ground location for head unit ground wire?

Alright, I am trying to get my double din in, and I am having a hard time finding a good place to attach the ground wire from the pioneer head unit.

My metra 70-7550 harness does not have a black ground wire to connect to the chassis ground in the harness.

My options that I can see -

Use the mounting bracket that sits behind the clock

Use one of the screws at the bottom of the radio mount - which appears to connect to a metal bar, which I can not see where it terminates.

Solder the ground wire to what is the actual chassis ground wire from the harness, although the wire I expect this to be is not in the G35 side of the harness - and the metra harness simply is missing a wire in that location.

I hope someone is up and checking the forums. I can really use some guidance here.

is not realy hard to test for good ground, just use a regular 12v power tester.

In order to test for ground, I should be able to touch one pin of the ohmmeter to the chassis, and the other end to my potential ground location? A good reading should turn up under 2 ohms, correct?

I've used the screws at the bottom of the radio mount - if you watch my video of the 70-7551 in use (in my DDin shopping/resource list sticky), you can see where it was grounded.

Thanks to both of you. I checked the ground resistance with my multimeter to the center bracket, and it came back with a 0.8 rating when checking against the front left bolt that mounts the drivers seat to the floor, pretty solid.

Also just checked my grounds for the amps, and those came back with good ratings as well.

This is probably the first meaningful use for my multimeter since I bought it...glad I had it.

I ended up using the center bracket in the top picture in the initial post.
