Looking for a little advice
Ok so ive looked around and read that w/bose audio the G is lacking in the midrange sound. I was wondering if i replaced it with this... would that give a better overall sound while producing more bass than the stock sub did?

Ive never done anything care audio related so what kind of amp should i run with that?

If you looked and read around a bit more, you'd see that the major culprit for horrible sound is the amplifier.
The EQ in the amp is still going to cut the bass way down whenever the volume goes up regardless of what sub it's powering, so you're not really going to get any more bass as long as you're powering the sub from the Bose amp.
I have no knowledge of that brand, but my knowledge in such matters is definitely quite shallow, however, you're going to need either an amp that can take differential-balanced inputs (JL and a few others do this) or something like the MTX REQ to unbalance the signal before putting it into a different brand of amp.
That sub only takes 100w RMS, so a simple amp like this (with the gain not all the way up, of course) would be fine: http://www.woofersetc.com/p6417/Di17...-Amplifier.htm

Better.
There's actually a decent amount of room at the stock location, just build a thin MDF shelf and mount it.
Compare the two pictures, just ignore my amps in the second picture.
See how much room is between the amp and the sub? That's just empty space behind the carpet. You've got room to build a thin shelf and mount it up, easily. Just make sure you have empty space for the hot air to go above the amp, but a D-class amp, running beneath it's RMS should run quite cool.

That amp won't work because it won't accept the balanced inputs from the Bose headunit. Your going to have to look at Arc Audio, JL Audio, Older PPI PC class, Zapco and I'm sure someone else can name more amp companies that I forgot that make amps that accept balanced inputs.
Here is what I would mount under the rear deck.

hmm. to me everything in the Bose audio system seems fine but imo opinion its lacking in the bass and midrange and im looking for the easiest way to solve that while using the stock sub location. Should i go ahead and just replace the bose amp with a better 5-channel or should i get a sub that will fit in the original location and get a mono amp?

You can still find some PPI amps on ebay. I have a PPI I've been using since the 90s and installed it in my 04 coupe without any real issues. I used the aux power socket fuse to supply my remote voltage. The wire listed in the sticky was a tad low to turn on the PPI. Excelent amps and probably underrated as far as listed wattage goes.
