Speaker suggestions for use with stock HU?
Hey -
Thanks in advance for any advice. I'm planning on an '05 coupe 6MT, and starting to think about what my budget needs to be to upgrade my audio. I'm cool with the stock head unit (well, not really, but I don't want to have to do a double din replacement, and now that it does MP3, I'll be ok), but I think there is probably a lot of quality lost to OEM speakers. My experience is limited to HU and speaker upgrades on a Camry and Maxima, so I thought I would ask around for advice.
Keeping the stock HU and speaker install locations, does anyone have any suggestions for upgrade speakers? Is there a Quart package that would work? Should I consider getting amps and components and doing a professional install instead of DIY?

I really like the sound of Focal 165K2 speakers in my G35 sedan.
Listen to as many as you can find and visit all the local shops to get some ideas about their level of experience with a G35 and their level of quality.
If you can afford it, have it done professionally by a reputable shop.
