I have the same question also.

OP, you could purchase and install the factory integration kit, but thats 150+.

Sub'd to know what other results there are.

Yeah, USA SPEC's fine.

Whenever this question comes up though, with the high failure rate of the stock stereos, does it make sense to drop $150 into a minor upgrade?

Save up and get the truly best iPod integration you'll ever get in the car - an aftermarket headunit. You'll need one soon enough anyway.

shop around and you can pick up the kit for $120. If the stereo does go out you can at least sell it for half that...so really you're only out only $60 and 30-45 minutes of your time for install.

i have a quick question. I'd like to know which one to get before I go ahead and order. I have an 05 coupe that's non-Bose and doesn't have the SAT button and is not XM ready. Is there a different cable that I need in order to get my ipod/iphone hooked up, or does the USA Spec Pa15-NIS work fine with my unit?

Ok, so I don't need to have the SAT or CAT or whatever those buttons are in order for it to work? It connects to the factory radio in the front or through the back? Thanks again for your response. Also, aren't there two different versions? The 11 and the 15 or something like that?

Ok thanks, just didn't want to get the wrong one, install it, then having to take it out and replace it. Thanks again.
