Dash question

Hello all,

I'm new with my '06 coupe. I have a INFINITI stereo system (not Bose). What does the SSV button do? I have mine on "high", not sure why but just thought it would be better. Can somebody explain to me what this function does.

Also, as you can see in the picture, my air vent light is always on. Is it always supposed to be on all the time? Is there a way to turn it off? Please help.

Thats not a Bose. Bose unit says bose directly under the INFINITI sign and doesnt have ssv as the third button. SSV is hidden in a menu.

speed sensitive volume as speedracerg35 mentioned above. its primary function is to make your music sound even worse than it already does from our factory stereo

I think the only way to turn it off is to press the button next to it which will close the vent..

Nope. I tried each button on both sides and nothing. It won't turn off the light.
