Stereo is driving me nuts!

I have had this problem lately with my stereo and it is driving me insane. If i play music with my ipod connected through the tape deck, the music will only play through the right speakers of the car.

If I switch to radio(FM) the music will play fine through all speakers.

If I switch to CD the music will play only through the back speakers.

If im playing a CD and I brake too hard or I go over a big bump, the music magically only plays through the front left speaker.

Can someone tell me what is going on?! I feel like there is something loose but I dont know where.

You should take the head unit out to inspect the connections.

Yup, percussive maintenance may help, taking it out and making sure the wires are all seated properly... but it's just another of the "features' of the POS radios they put in these cars.

Go aftermarket and never look back.

Lmao and here I thought I was the only one having this one of a kind problem. It just started happening so randomly though, just one day it went insane. Guess I will remove the headunit and see what I come up with.

I tried that but the thing still dont want to work, I did that one time and it worked but after that it couldnt take the beating anymore i guess.
