I dont know what the salesman meant by less stress on the amp

the amp only sends power out it doesnt care if its 1 sub or 8, as long as the final impedance is within its range.

have you heard either sub?

even then its hard to tell which sub you want because its not in your car and every car acts different to each sub.

Here's my choices:
This for the sub: http://www.woofersetc.com/p6664/PCX7...-Amplifier.htm
And for the four channels: http://www.woofersetc.com/p8867/TX45...-Amplifier.htm

And no, it's not four components. 2 component speakers, 2 coaxial. Total waste to put components in the rear, and you'd have to cut some new holes anyway.

Should've kept the w3's. It's pretty obvious why the guy @ the shop talked you into the w6..he makes more money off you that way.

go with wrath's amp suggestions.

The guy at the shop wanted me to keep the two W3's he said there was no point in me getting the W6

not too sure where to get the 4080

front doors are 6.5
rears are 6x9

Rears aren't needed. use that money toward a better pair of front speakers.

^ In the sedan, front and rear doors are *BOTH* 6.5"

On the coupe, the rear deck 6x9's, the front doors and the rear sides are 6.5".

eggyhustles is definitely right that you are fine doing focals up front, and nothing more than the 10w6 in a sealed enclosure.

Check this forum for the "4080 enclosures closing" or something like that thread (should be on page 2 or 3 at the furthest). Check the last page or two of it, there's info on where to get them now. I'd search for and link it for you, but since the change on the board, it takes me 5min to load a single page, and I'm not gonig to spend half an hour searching for something so easy to fine.

Coming from someone who has the 500/1v2, I'm very pleased with it, but I listen to a lot of rock and music where bass isn't the main aspect. You can probably get away with much less (although I got mine for 225 on craigslist, it retails for like 600), like the lower end JLs. Or if you want to look at a different company, I've heard good things about the lower end Alpine amps. For the speakers, I have a 300/4 not the v2, and I'm a fan.

For the box, I have a custom sealed box. Had to take out the spare, but it sounds good. The coupe almost has to be custom the trunk is so small. For the sedan I'm not sure what I'd do, depends on how much money you want to spend.
