sorry if I posted in the wrong section I'm a forum noob but I was on jl audio's website and saw the 12 inch w7 in the high output box and I was wondering if I could fit that enclosure in my trunk firing backwards if I removed the spare.

Get a sealed box for it them

The high output box is tuned high for maximum spl resulting in it sounding like **** on music

It's tuned to mid 40's

doesn't have enough port area either

I don't think an efficient ported design would fit into your trunk. It'll sure be a tight fit which isn't good since the sub needs space to unload.

You're better off sealed. Or diff subs

really even with the spare removed? do u think I could fit a 10 with a porter enclosure in there then cause I'm really trying to stay away from sealed

You'll need about 2 cubes ported for the 10w7.

sundown sa-12 would work in 1.5

food for thought

Best bang for buck sub out right now for sq/spl

In the past month, i've installed these in 12 setups. They're cheap(189), work in smaller enclosures, get stupid loud, and sound great
