I saw a video one time of a guy whose plywood box physically blew up. Lemme try to find that.

yes it's plywood, I don't think that what I'm pushing will cause the box to explode, also its put together so well, that the wood would break before the joints would come apart. Where is the best place to hook up the amps remote wire??

You originallly have the bose? If yes there is a remote turn on connected to that amp.

I have to say, that is a clean box for 2 10's, it looks nice pushed back under the deck, wut are the dimensions on the box?

I can't remember exactly, but it was made to fit very securly in the smalll part of the trunk, utilizing the most room while taking up the least amount of space (weird huh?), it is the correct volume to support two JL Audio 10w3v2s. I am starting the install in about two hours, I'm pretty excited to replace the old bose crap out with the best quality speakers that I have ever owned. If I do any door panel cutting I will post pics to show (hopefully show-off) the end results. I thank all of you guys for the super help, and also the fellas that have done a wonderfull job on all of the DIYs.

I think the key top getting the XR componet tweeters to fit in the stock tweeter location is to remove them from their casings, and make a simple bracket/strap to hold them in from behind using the stock mounting holes.
