wats up, i would like to know what would be the best set up for my 05 Gcoupe

i was thinking of 2 10inch FI BL's powered by a Audioque amp or should i go with 1 12inch Fi BTL? which would sound better? thanks alot fellas

 

Id go with 2 10" BL 's. Pick up the notes better; push more air.

fi btl 's are amazing 2000 rms but i rather do 2 10's over a single 12. I hope your planning on pulling your spare tire and building a good size enclosure

 

O forgot to add which amp is it the aq2200? That would be the most reasonable amp to work with 2200rms @ 1ohm i believe its rated @ 14.4volts so if your running around 12 volts @ idle it should be the ideal amp !

 

oh yeah the spare has been out lol, been doing my voice mostly and im going to finally do the bass

Nice man 2 15" btl 's has always been my dream setup. I have videos on youtube I've done numerous setups the biggest being 4 15" kicker L7's .. I believe there's a video of all 4 in the trunk but ran out of cash to finish project as far as getting a high output alternator and some extra yellow tops .. I had the isolator which I was going to use of course to draw the current... But I had 2 pa ovn12600d amps ... At the end of it I took out 2 of them and 1 of the amps and sold them and built a new enclosure lol.

Yeah sounds coo, he has the BTL's in his navigator, with two huge kinetic batteries in the back and a huge one under the hood and he has a 270 amp alternator too. no videos though, but i will tell u this, ur adams apple shakes like crazy sitting inside lol

not sure since when but they're available in 10's, the BTL's arent available in 10 inch

1-20-11 just ordered my rear trunk strut bar, so i can know the exact dimensions of the box once I install the bar

6-24-11 been a long time but i just ordered 1- 10inch Fi BL, decided to just do 1 woofer dont want anything to crazy and add crazy weight to the car, so 1 should do just fine. Hope the speaker gets here soon. ill post pics when everything is built

 

7-23-11 finally got the sub, ended up calling FI and switching to a 12" BTL might as well go hard lol. My bro and I made a custom box being that the trunk in the coupe is so small plus i have the rear trunk brace. So far the speaker isnt really pounding yet because i have it tied in to my tweeter amp until i make up my mind on which amp to go with, but you can tell it wants to pump hard. The bass is real low but its deep, cant wait to get the amp and push it.
