Avic Z120BT compatibility

Quick question for you guys..

I am terrible when it comes to audio equipment and knowing what does what and what plugs into where..

I am looking at buying the Avic Z120BT from pioneer next week and was just wondering if it is a straight forward install. I am having someone install it for me but my question is... Since I have the Bose system is there anything special that needs to be done? I don't plan on upgrading my speakers or adding a sub anytime soon.. Just starting with the double DIN.

Secondly I am looking at buying the JDM double DIN kit, I am assuming that will fit the 7 inch screen on the z120?

Thanks guys

Here's everything you need:

It'll work fine, it's hardware-identical to the Z110BT, which I have in my car.

Awesome thank you.. Sorry for not noticing that sticky.. I should know better -_-

One last question for you.. I noticed that Grubbs Performance has the Metra double din kit for $99.00.. Seems like an awesome deal. Now here is the stupid question. I don't have factory NAV and by looking at the picture of the kit how does that install into the dash if that little glove compartment is at top.

The JDM one looks like one solid piece that kind of goes around that compartment where as the metra one is just the AC controls and down.

Thanks again

the "pocket" is used from your existing parts

I think its held on by a few screws, just uninstall it from your current radio and install it on to your new kit
