I believe the OEM battery is higher CCA.

But yea Autozone sells the 35-DLG(640cca) or the 24F-DLG(750cca)

both are over the OEM batter's CCA.

the Interstate MTP-35 has 640CCA get that one. Its the exact same battery as the 35-dlg from autozone.

If it were me, I'd go to Nissan and pay $90 for the OEM battery. The OEM batteries typically last twice as long as most any aftermarket battery. I typically get 5 to 6 years out of OEM Nissan batteries. With aftermarket batteries, I get about 3 years. Do the math and you'll end up paying a lot more for aftermarket batteries over the span of 6 years. Aftermarket batteries tend to leak a lot more too.

I run die hard golds in my cars. Usually last me 6 years or so

My oem battery is on it's way out, as cold morning starts are getting a little scary now. I'll go pick up a die hard after Xmas

I have the Optima Red Top battery, size 34-R. Installed in July 2008, and been going strong ever since. Comes with a 36 month free replacement warranty and 84 month prorated warranty.

hehe I am glad you had so much luck with the OEM's. My car before I got it went through 2 infiniti batteries, as listed the maintenance history, then 5 months after I had the car the OEM battery died again. So thats 3 batteries in 4 years. I decided to go with aftermarket.

CCA doesn't matter to the OP, since he is in FL.

I would just go with any battery that fits. normally they cover least 3 years.

Generally i pick up diehard gold because of the warranty and its like no hassle type of deal but i got a deal with a interstate battery, 2 years no hassle for $50. Diehard golds run about $75-90. Somewhat no brainer.

OEM batterys AFAIk are made by innerstate just rebadged.

^ if that's true then Johnsons controls make them which also makes Diehard, Duralast gold..ect JC owns like a dozen or so battery brands.

Also yea CCA does not matter but CA does, there is a minimum the i-35 only has 500CA while the Duralast gold 35dlg and Interstate MTP-35 have 800CA and are recommended replacements for our Cars. while the I-35 is not.
