Navigation "Enter" Button

Hello All,

I just purchased a 2005 6MT Coupe and am loving the car as well as the wealth of information on this forum.

Obviously with any used car, I'm starting to discover some small problems and have been trying to search to see if any other users have had the same problem.

I noticed that my "Enter" / Joystick button for my factory Navigation unit often doesn't respond, but if I press it enough times, it'll go to the next menu. I do have the car running but am not moving so I don't think it's the system that's preventing me from entering my selection. I have no problems moving the cursor up or down at any time.

Anyone else have or heard of this problem?

Thanks!

The enter key can be tricky, it's really a poor choice by Infiniti the way they did it.

i know this is a bit late, but perhaps a class action lawsuit would get infiniti to swap them out. there have been several times whereby I'm trying to press the enter button, and it has caused me to divert my eyes from driving - this is a major accident waiting to happen!

This "I'm not responsible for not paying attention" lawsuit bullsh1t is the reason we have to OK that damn warning every time it comes up.
