That box is too small for the sub.
Neither of those amps accept a differential-balanced signal. (What the Bose headunit puts out).
The easiest amp to get your hands on that accepts a differential-balanced signal are JL Audio amps.

hmmm anyway i can get away with gettin' somethin' from FRY's? i have a hookup there... so that would be awesome to get somethin' through them. i don't believe they carry JL... and aside from that... JL is usually expensive. unless i go on ebay or CL is it a 1 channel i should be looking for or...?

Shortest explanation that's understandable - an amp expecting a balanced signal that gets an unbalanced signal sees half of the audio signal as noise, particularly along the lower frequencies (bass) and makes the audio both quiet and degraded.

well the one that i showed is actually 50 bucks... so it's 30 bucks cheaper than the polk audio... but i don't understand how i have to run a JL amp... tons of people are running other amps on this board... is it because they don't have bose or what?
you dont have to use JL. You can use which ever one you want.. I would recommend a Class D amp if your just using it for a sub. All you have to do then is find your bose harness, tap the front left and right speakers (+ and -) prior to entering the stock amp. Those will go into a LOC (line out converter/ high-low) which convert the stock signal to RCA (right and left balanced output) which go into the amp and badabing badaboom..
Just save up money and buy a better sound system. All that stuff you plan to buy from fry's is going to be worthless. Probably won't even sound good or barely make a difference than your stock sounds now.

You don't have to use JL Audio, there's a few others that take differential-balanced signals, but all JL Audio amps do.
