Any using this head unit?

A friend of mine is selling it and the cost of it is basically $260 (we're trading some stuff and the cost on my end is about $160 worth)

Worth the cash? Worth my time?

Thanks, I'm not big in to car audio so I'm a noob when it comes to it, I just have a the worst feeling my Bose will die soon so I picked up a JDM DD kit.

you can buy the ipod controller for not to much money

It's good, but it's very outdated now, like 3 generations old. You can get an outgoing model - 3200 - with bluetooth for only $60 more than you say it'll cost you:

meh, it's just to do the trick so I don't need latest and greatest. By the time the newest one gets to Canada is will probably be a generation old anyways lol

Well, if you don't get the iPod adapter with it from your buddy, when you price that 4000 and the adapter to use an iPod, you're spending more than a brand new 3200BT.

I think he said there was the remote in there too which you buy separately usually.

I've read everywhere that the remote isn't included with this unit, I'd have to buy it. But I probably won't I never use them.
