Would this amp suffice/ work in g35 sedan bose

Hi,

I got this amp for free from a prelude that I parted out a little while back, i know the system that was in the lude was clean, but it did use one other amp than this.

Amp is: Toshiba tp-873

I wanted to know if this amp can either
1) be used to increase volume /sound quality of current door speakers
2) be used to make the sub louder/ improve the sound quality/
3) can it do both or just one or the other? if only one which one would you use it for?

I dont need anything to be show/ compeition status, i just figure since it was free if it would give me any benefit?
I plan to put a better sub in stock location, possibly.

Current set up
polk db 650 in rear doors
Polk Audio db6501 2-Way 6.5" Components in front w tweets
stock 05 bose nav

thanks!

Most of the EQ horribleness in the Bose amp is towards the sub, so you could probably get away with using a LOC on the signal going to the front speakers and use it that way, since the amp won't take the differential-balanced signal directly from the headunit.

So you are saying, I can use this to power my front speakers and the rest would still go off the old amp?

That would be the way I'd recommend doing it, if you decide you just have to do it.

But going with an amp that can take the differential-balanced signal from the Bose headunit (JL audio are easy to find and do it well) and getting rid of the Bose amp completely is a much better option.

Well, if you keep the Bose headunit (I don't recommend you do) then you need one that can take differential-balanced signals. As I said, JL is the easiest to get your hands on that will.

This amp plus an amp wiring kit would be as close to a plug & play replacement:
