Got speakers, sub, amp...now need cd player and kit

At first I was gonna just replace the speakers and amp...now that I got all that...I decided just to do it all at once since people say it sounds better with a aftermarket HU.....

I got a 03 with bose....gonna take everything out....probably gonna go with the Metra kit to save a few bucks.....I think I need a antenna adapter??

something for the steering wheels controls.....??

and also probably gonna do a single DIN......

what a good cd player to get now still pioneer....id like one that can have sat added at anytime and a port for mp3's

any suggestions? or am I missing anything

You're missing your budget. Any decent stereo has USB and sat radio support as well.

Yeah, you never said how you much you have to spend for everything.

$150 single-din budget headunits are hard to recommend when you can get a kick-*** 3300BT double-din touchscreen, bluetooth DVD-playing headunit for $360.

You'd need the wiring harness (70-7550 for non-bose systems, or if you're adding your own amp) or the wiring adapter (PAC ROEM-NIS2 of if you have a bose amp and are keeping it).

No pandora or bluetooth.

EQ is only 5 bands vs the 3300's 8.

You can get a bluetooth adapter for the 2300, but it's almost twice the difference in price between the two units.

Considering how many states are enacting hands-free requirements, the price difference between the two is likely less than the ticket you'd have to pay.

If you can still find a AVH3200BT (lots of places are selling them at end of year prices) as long Pandora isn't important to you you can save quite a few bucks.

I just installed a AVH3200DVD (bluetooth isn't important to me) and I love it.

It should work. You just have to buy the correct adapter that works with that certain brand of deck you buy.
