Wondering if anyone ahs hooked up an LOC in a 2007 G35 sdean with a non bose system. Where to grab the speaker wires for the LOC.

 

Best place I can think of is right before it goes to the rear doors, but the V36 a/v forums may be a better source for info.

 

I think the easiest place to do it is at the head unit.. tap the wires there, put your LOC behind it and run the RCAs to the trunk. Other wise you have to run all the speaker wire from both sides (if you do it before the doors) to the LOC in the trunk.. PITA

 

I agree with what both said

if you are wanting to run a 4 channel amp, at the headunit would be best.

if you are just running a sub, at the rear speakers would be best

 

I was assuming it was for a sub as well.

ok so then I agree.. before the rear door, combine the left and right signals on the LOC and tap away!
