Trunk setup: Starting from Scratch!

For a while now, I have been wanting to do something new with my trunk setup. Now that my old system is sold, it's time to get busy. I will post pics as the project progresses. The one thing that I can guarantee is that it will be TOTALLY unique. The other thing that I am almost certain of is that most people will NOT like it

My goal for this setup is:

-tighter bass for rock music
-more trunk space
-be able to run a rear strut bar (I may have a big surprise for this one)

The old setup:

Phase 1 of the new:

Maybe if you would have read a little bit on audio theory, you'd know that spl oriented subs go in PORTED boxes..not small sealed

Box looks sealed.

Unless it's ported..which i doubt.

Not a bandpass either since it would be about 4x larger than that.

^you cant see the box...all you are seeing is the false floor panel. The floor is elevated 3" from stock and there is enough room under there to do close to a 3 cubic foot box.
