Thumbs down Climate Control Issues / Questions

Hey guys n gals, wondering if anyone out there has ever had their non - nav coupe or sedan have a climate control system with a mind of it's own??

Here is what is happening, the entire sound system and climate control system freezes. It doesn't happen all the time, or every time i drive the car, but maybe...2 - 4 times out of 10 that i start and run it. Sometimes the temp, fan speed and where it's flowing from are on, sometimes not.

I've checked the fuses and none of them are bad. And when it's acting normal, everything is spot on. It's weird.

Anyone had any similar issues or heard of them?

Circuit board's going bad.

Only good option is to replace the whole radio and a/c control unit, preferably with an aftermarket radio, and of course, the a/c controls that are required with an aftermarket radio.
