2005 G35 Sedan use same Bose wiring as 2003?

Hi all. Newbie to the G35s here?

Just purchased a used 2005 G35 Sedan. Has the Bose system with no nav and the 7 speaker setup with the sub in the read deck. I am tearing out the system and doing a custom install. I noticed the sticky for the 03 Bose wiring from the amp. Will this be applicable for the 05 as well as it seems that the V35 forums lump the 03-05 models together.

If not, does anyone have access to the wiring for the 05 sedan? Thank you very much.

Gregg

Are you keeping the stock headunit? It's *highly* discouraged, since they fail at an alarming rate, so that you'd be stuck without any audio source for your new system.

Additionally, the signal from the Bose headunit is a differential-balanced signal, which few amps are built to accommodate, so whatever money you put towards either an amp that takes the signal, or signal converter would have been better spent towards upgrading the headunit.

If you replace the headunit and amp, you've no need for the wiring diagram.

Anyway, you can find the wiring information here:

No I am removing everything. I just wanted to use the stock speaker wiring to the doors so I needed the colors from the amp connectors. Thanks for the link. I assume the stock speaker wiring can handle 75 @ 4ohm RMS? What is it 22 gauge?

Not sure on the gauge, but I'm shoving 75w RMS through it daily. The wiring is thicker than the wiring that's on the speakers themselves, so it should be fine.
