Thumbs up Big Ups to Sound Innovations in Hayward, CA

I've been slacking on posting pix of my trunk setup mostly cause the best I can do for now are camera phone pix and, frankly, making a thread like this is kinda embarrassing. I really think the guys at Sound Innovations did a good job though, and I want to give Ernie and his installer Danny their due - highly recommended!

Also, big thanks to Randy (RRYDE) and Kurtis (k67p67) for their help and advice along the way

Anyway, pix of the build and finished product are below:

I started out with a pair of plain old 4080 boxes to save time & money on fabricating the subwoofer enclosures.

Danny at SI modified the boxes to fit my subs and the overall layout of the trunk

The amp rack was fabbed out of aluminum and made so the amp would appear to float

SI milled up some aluminum trim rings for the subs to provide an accent border and conceal the mounting hardware

Ready for finish material

Alcantara on the boxes

All done...lights off

Lights on

Amp well and opening to the air tank & compressors

Audison amp

Air tank

Hertz subs and trim ring

Tron shots lol

Thanks for viewing!

I didn't realize you had air, either BigC.

Regardless, trunk set up is very legit. I like the subtle look of it, but at the same time, it is still flashy and put together well.

Love the look and it came out really good, I really like the trim rings good way to hide the hardware.
