How do you install all this stuff?!

I have an '04 Sedan... I recently got my Pioneer AVIC F900BT double-din nav unit.. It also came with a Sirius Tuner, Sirius interface, Backup Camera & Interface box... My question is... I'm running 2 amps, so out of the back of the nav unit, I now have:

6 RCA cables (front, rear, sub outs going to amps in the trunk)
3 AV cables (RWY iPod AV in)
1 USB cable (iPod control)
GPS cable
microphone cable
Antenna
and of course the power plug (power, ground, 12v, accessory, remote signal)

I've got all the above installed and working, but I think I've run out of space for the Sirius Tuner + interface, and the backup camera's interface. Did anyone else find a way to cram all this stuff into an install? I don't know where to put it all and it's frustrating me. I feel like I'm out of space.

Also, my AVIC unit can tie into the vehicle speed using a pink wire... where do I splice that in? And for that matter, there's a purple wire with a white stripe for reverse signal, so the screen switches to the backup camera when the car is put into reverse... where do I splice that in?

All help is greatly appreciated, I'd like to finish this install on saturday

Thanks so much.

There's a decent amount of space underneath the headunit for adapters.

The speed sensor wire on the car can be found on the harness that doesn't plug into the harness kit. It that has four wires on it - reference ground (yellow), steering wheel controls A (green), steering wheel controls B (red), and speed sensor (green with white stripe - or white with green stripe, I forget).

Reverse can be tied to the power wire for your camera in the trunk, and run along with the video signal wires.

thanks for the quick reply. I'll look for the speed wire tomorrow when i install the rest, but I'm still confused about the reverse light. It's supposed to tie into the power wire for the reverse lights, which one is that exactly? is it down by the fuse box or does it run to the little computer under the arm rest?

"Violet/white (REVERSEGEAR SIGNAL INPUT)
This is connected so that the navigation system can detect
whether the vehicle is moving forwards or backwards.
Connect the violet/white lead to the lead whose voltage
changes when the shift lever is put in reverse. Unless
connected, the sensor may not detect your vehicle
travelling forward/backward properly, and thus the position
of your vehicle detected by the sensor may be misaligned
from the actual position."

Since you're at the trunk anyway, you can just connect that wire to the positive wire that powers the reverse lights. If you weren't doing a camera, it'd be worth it to find a reverse signal at the dash area, but you are doing a camera, so no reason to not just route to the same wire powering the camera.

I see what you're saying now. Just run the whole interface back there, rather than just the camera. Then run the cables from the interface back to the unit. That answers my first question (how do I fit all this crap in here) heh. Thanks so much Wrathernaut
