Ipod Direct Connect Issue (Kenwood)

It works fine and i control the equalizer through the stereo but my sound check is not working at all... while playing my music at a certain volume, one song will be loud and the next il have to turn it up 5 notches just to hear it. is there a way to transfer over the sound check? or is there a way i can edit all the songs in itunes to adjust them to a constant volume.

i know that itunes and the ipod both have sound checks but its just for playback i believe...

It's not the Kenwood, it's the Ipod / Itunes...

I have the same issue with my Ipod and Kenwood combo, but the problem is also evident when I plug it into my Sony ( both of them ) portable radios at work as well. One song will be a perfect level, then the next is low, then back up...

I was trying to find a good program to run all my MP3's through to level the sound on everything. If I find one, I'll let ya know.
