Did you get the one with the 2 way remote?

The reason i ask is the 5902 i got came with 2 remotes one two way (with color screen) and another 1 way that is actually smaller than the factory fob.

You may be able to buy the one way remote and program it to your viper (not sure worth looking into)

if you have a screen its a two way remote (you get signal back on whats going on with your alarm if you're n range)

The Viper alarms don't allow external arming and disarming so it is not an easy task to arm them with your OEM transmitter. It can't be done, but it involves mounting a hard wired remote under the dash. When you lock the doors it triggers the hard wired remote and arms the alarm. Same thing when you disarm. Not a perfect implementation but it can work.

There are alarms that have external arm/disarm wires. They would probably work better in this application.
