I know what it is and I need to do it for the audio system, but is there any trick getting to the alt? it looks like it's gonna be a PITA

If you're not going over 1,000w RMS you don't *need* it, but it's still a good idea.

I will be at the 1,000 mark actually plus LED's and T.V.s im going to have to. and yes scott ik infiniti put the alt in the worst spot possible. but still how do u do it is the question?

Worst spot possible?

You, obviously, have never replaced the alternator on a 1995 Dodge Avenger V6.

You have to remove the exhaust manifold, intake manifold, EGR tube, and rear crossmember, in addition to all the fun of serpentine belts in a traverse-mounted v6. It was sandwiched between all those items and the firewall, but the firewall doesn't come out.

I doubt this alternator is that hard to reach. Get under the car and pull it out.....

big 3 is easy to do

sure you might get......are ready...... you might get greasy =(

have u done it? and i dont think u nmeed to take it out . u just need some tools that will get in there and tighten the bolt.

have you looked under the car yet?

the alt is right there. easy to get to
