Really nissan, I have to take apart the whole car to get the radio out. Really.

Bro, it takes like 30mins to take the dash apart. It's not like Nissan is asking you to do an engine swap to access the radio

I agree with the OP.
They could of easily designed a radio that would pop out if it wasnt attached to the ac vents.

Yeah it only tkae 30 min to an hour to get there but they could of saved us a lot of time and money if the ac controls and vents were not attached

This way they can't really steal what their looking to get, only thing they'll do is damage what you have cause they couldn't steal it.

I understand that part but either way you will have to replace the radio and dash kit

you either lose everything or have a scratched up dash that will need to be replaced.

That's a good thing it takes longer so people wouldn't have easy access to steal anything. I'm glad its hard to take anything apart in our cars.

A philips screwdriver and not caring what happens to the interior, and the radio's out in <2min.

removed mines for the first time this week. was thinking the same thing as you while i was taking it apart.
