Custom Amp installation with 4080 Sub box

So here it it, my finished project, after various design concepts and fluid flow analysis, I finally completed my amp "rack" which holds both the stock amp, the SAT receiver and a JL audio amp to push my 10 inch JLW6V2...enjoy

The Sub is a JL Audio 10W6V2, I got it wired at 2 ohms, taken full advantage of the 1400d's power. The amp is very strong, I'm very happy, I did have 2 12W6V1 and a PPI PC2150 in my old car and this setup hits just as hard, if not harder, but in a 1/4 of the space. Gotta love technology.

Very nice amp install. Do we need to do a 4080 box and spadak amp rack combo package? We can call it the spadakthata$$ bass combo deal package. Nevermind, great install though.

Whats the deal with the vents with the rubber flaps on them in the third picture towards the outer fender? I have seen these in other cars and I always wondered for what reason is there a vent there? Pressure equlization? Anyone? Nice setup by the way, exactly what I want to do as far as stealth.

Those vents release pressure when you close the trunk. If they were not there it would be hard to close the trunk. Have you ever noticed its much more difficult to close your door(house door) to the garage when the garage door is down?

Nice setup. I put my processor and amp in the same location, but I used a cheaper method. Pics in my sig page 5.
