Double Din Recommendations?

Can someone recommend a good replacement unit with the following features? I would like one in the 300-400$ range, but I am definitely willing to pay more for a better unit.

Must Haves:
  • 1/8" audio jack (for music from android phone)
  • Touch screen (7" preferred, atleast 5.8")
  • Volume **** (**** preferred, atleast dedicated buttons)
  • NO Navigation
  • Fastish responding interface (no lag)
  • EQ
  • Plays DVDs/CDs

Would like to haves:
  • Rear View Camera Compatible

Are there any brands I should look for or stay away from?

i just picked up a pioneer 930bt cause i wanted the navi, but the pioneer avh-3200bt is pretty good if you wanted bluetooth. and price is super cheap right now as well.
Amazon Amazon
, but i also heard good things about jvc headunits being non laggy but so-so user interface..

Everything has a 3.5mm jack on it or RCAs in the rear that you can just connect a y-cable to.
Everything's touchscreen these days (minus the absolute bottom tier of units).
Nothing with a **** is going to have a 7" screen, but most every 7" screen unit will have buttons on the lower section.
Excluding navigation is kind of a moot point.
Fastest interface these days is on JVC units. Not flashy or particularly pretty, but fast.
EQ... they all have some form of EQ.
CD-only units are extremely rare in current-gen DD units.
And video-in is also pretty much standard in every ddin as well.

So really, from that list you're pretty much looking for something with a fast interface. That's JVC's units right now.
With a **** - JVC AVX740:

Without a **** - JVC AVX840:

The Pioneer 3300BT and 4300DVD are also quite good, but the interface isn't nearly as fast.

The AVX740 is just what I am looking for, and at a good price too! Thanks so much.

no problem, and feel free to write up a review of the unit after you get it installed.

Alright, I definitely will, but I have one more question. For a Bose 03 Sedan I would need...

JVC AVX740
DD Trim Kit
PAC ROEMNIS2 for Nissan Vehicles
Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control
Metra 40-NI10 Nissan Antenna Adapter

I wouldn't need any new amp/anything like that, correct?

I don't see a trim ring to fill the gap as part of the unit, so you might need a scosche trim ring if you're using the JDM trim. If you're going metra, you should be fine with that list.

You don't need a new amp, but it's definitely a great upgrade in the future.

i actually just installed a JVC AVX740 in my 2005 coupe last week..since my stock one went nuts...

i personally love it! it has everything i want minus Nav but its a great looking unit. it does have a trim ring with it but it does not fit in the JDM kit.

i did the install myself in an hour..(with no experience with car audio) paid $333 shipped to my door
