iPhone FM Transmitter question
i have a 2004 coupe and the CD player stopped working about 6 months ago
Im thinking of buying an iPhone FM transmitter. I heard you can get these from walmart. Is there any brands I should consider?
Also, Ive never had one before, do you just plug it into that hole thats to the left of the glovebox?
Any other alternatives to this? I dont want to dish out over $1000 on a new set
thanks everyone

For a discount alternative to a new radio, WIRED FM modulators are a good way to go - the sound quality is better than any FM station you've ever received, but below CD quality. PAC IS77 (about $41) and a set of antenna adapters ($12 for the required standard and reverse pack).
Installation is little more than connecting the power wires to the back of the cigarette lighter and plugging the antenna wires in the back of the radio and the antenna wire that went into the radio into the PAC IS77.

Those FM transmitters have only worked well for me when I'm in rural areas. It might just be in my head though. They really are a waste of money.

If you get a decent single din and metra kit from crutchfield, you can do it for under $200, if you install yourself. That's less than two tanks of gas more. And where these radios are notorious for failure, replacing it sooner than later is a good thing.
