Double din install sound low
Double din install sound low
So I installed my avic d3 double din this past weekend and the sound is pretty low idk. If I did something wrong but I just color mached the wires from harness to the PAC roem ... So I'm I stuck with this very low system or can I just save a little and buy a bass box like two tens and a amp and will my sound improve not just my bass ?????
On 40 on the volume it's like a little over half of what my stock radio kicked out this can't be normal

No it's not that low its just not nowhere near loud and it's a little under stock sound but it does sound better than stock ... I think it's just the way it's suppose to
Be watever ... Now if I invest in a small
Set
Of ten subwoofer lets say jl's and a decent amp not expensive or cheap
But quality stuff will
My loudness go up or just the bass

The bose amp is by far the worst part of the stock system, so I support any plan that involves its removal.
Did you connect the ROEM to the RCAs or the speaker-level outputs?

doesnt the speaker level converter have alittle **** on it to adjust the sensitivity. maybe u gotta increase it a bit. also pioneer decks have a high volume range up to 60 i think so 35-40 is about normal sound setting. so under normal use it will be at that volume. thats where mine is set to usually when im listening to music. i had an alpine and i think it only went up to 40 or something so i usually wouldnt go pass 25-30 or else its too loud
