Need a double din
What's important to you?
Bluetooth?
Navigation?
Interface being easy to use?
Interface being fast?
Equalization customization?
Does the $600-700 include the required trim and a/c controller?
Does the $600-700 include the installation charge or are you doing it yourself?
Why limit yourself to only Kenwood or Pioneer?

JVC does variable color too, and the GPS is much better than anything Pioneer's got right now. Google maps database, traffic, blazing fast interface (albeit not as pretty as Pioneer or Kenwood's), detachable faceplate for security, built-in HD receiver, bluetooth...
Check out the $650 JVC KW-NT3HDT.
Here's a video of in action:
I'm really considering getting rid of my wife's Pioneer AVIC-F90BT (upgraded to X910BT software) unit in favor of this.
Both have removable faces, but the JVC the entire face comes off, while only a small piece of the x930 comes off. It's obvious that the JVC has had it removed, while somebody still might smash into your car for the x930, since it's not that obvious part of it has been removed.
The navigation on the jvc is worlds better.
Pandora integration on the x930 is awesome. On the JVC, you'll have to just stream the audio from it.
