My New Mobile Video Setup...Take a Look!
Wassup Everyone...just thought id share some info/pics of my latest project.
-AV Electronic Nav-to-DVD converter
-Myron davis DVD player in lower glove box
-2 6.5" LCD's in headrests
-Toggle switch between Nav & DVD under the Hazard button...

The quality of the picture is good. Its not as good as the rears (they are LCD) but it is def good enough...
Yes, you can still use the stock navi...if u look at my cardomain site (u might have already) you will see the switch under the hazards. This switch goes back-n-forth between navi and dvd player (in lower glove)...its really smooth!

HOO- Before i drove my coupe i actually had a sedan for about 8 months...and while i didnt have screens in those headrests, i did take it to the shop (same one that did my coupe) and the guy didnt point out any problems...Now maybe he didnt get deep enough into the project, becasue i never went through with it, but ive never heard of that problem. Also, im not 100%, but i swear ive seen a few sedans (on this site) that had head-rest screens...but i could be wrong. U might wanna find someone with a sedan and ask them about their install...
Like i always say, what a great problem to have - Im havingtrouble putting 6" TV screens in the headrests of my car!!!
It could be soo much worse....
