The 2005 console comes apart a lot like the 2004, you shouldn't have too much trouble if you just follow one of the DIY guide for the earlier models.

Do the 2005 have a SAT or AUX input for the PAC unit. I want to do the AV Electronics install and noticed no "SAT" button on my console. Will there be an Aux input for the PAC unit once I open my dash and poke around? Thanks

I'm very ready to buy a G35 and an Xbox to connect using the Navbox module and the PAC interface but I've been searching the forums for an answer to
How do we connect this without a SAT button???

Anyone with answers would be greatly appreciated by all 05 owners (or owners to be )
Can't be bad for business either...
Thanks in advance

took my car in last week, but the 05 have different wiring than previous models. video can be seen but with lines. installer called around and is trying to find a solution. i believe they are using the CAT button for the audio. the shop will be taking my car in to PAC-audio themselves to try to solve this problem. if anyone has any solutions pls let me know or i will keep everyone updated. tks.

Any news on this?
Getting worried that my dreams of an 05 won't be as soon as I thought! Maybe on 04 with proven results?

I think someone on this forum said that the RADIO button gives you additional options once you hook something up to the wires in the back of the 2005 sterio system. AM--FM1--FM2--SAT or XM will show up.
