Amp wiring

I am having trouble finding posts on how the amp should be installed. Right now they are connected before the stock bose amp. The bass isn't as loud as it should be. Even my rear deck 6x9's overpower my JL sub. I am running a JL 500/1 amp and a JL 10w6v2 sub. I've followed these instructions from this thread:

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...hlight=install

I connected the the wires to the sni-15 then to the wires pre-boseamp. I connected the the wires on the black plug. Orange/Blue bose amp wire to the black stripped/silver LLC wire, White/Blue bose amp wire to the silver LLC wire, solid white bose amp wire to the black stripped/white LLC wire, and solid orange bose amp wire to the solid white LLC wire.

Did I do something wrong with the wire connections? Could the blackstripped wires on the LLC be the negative leads instead of the positive leads? Did I even use the correct wires? I am pretty much confused. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me.

Most likely, you have your wires switched. The stripped might be negative, usually, stripped wires are neg.

If the positions are the same, the stock bose amp should be to the left of the spare tire in the trunk under the plastic cover. If you remove the screws and slide the plastic piece out, you should find it underneath.
