Mounting amps..

I have 2 jl amps and wanna hide both of them.. is there room to put them under the carpet and not have a bulge in the carpet?? My plan is to use a thin piece of plywood to mount the amps too..

Check the custom audio systems sticky at the top of this forum for some ideas of how you can accomplish something like that.

Basically, you'd have to build a false floor and probably put some ventilation to keep them from overheating if you want them "invisible" like that.

Does your amp ever over heat being covered all the time or do you have any problems with it there? i was thinking about mounting mine around the same spot if possible

I had problem with mine overheating in the summer under the carpet where the spare goes.. I even added crossflow fan but not sure if it was because of a cheap fan or there is no ventilation. I have no other place to mount them so I'm still looking for ways to make it breath better! Any ideas??????
