Equalizer ?

Hello everyone im pretty new here just got into a G last week, i traded in my altima for an 04 BS sedan 5AT. In the altima i had an pretty cool JL steup i had the xr650csi on the doors and the JL 6x9s in the back, i also have a JL 12w6v2,the deck is an alpine 9833 with the sirius adapter. all this is powered by 2 JL mps; a 300/4 and 500/1. well im transfering everything except for the head unit, because at the time i cant afford a double din kit.and to be honest i kind of like the stock HU. my question is, does anyone have an equlizer with the stock HU and how does it sound. I might just sell my current head unit along with the sirius on it and just get an equilizer for the stock. Any recomendations on what i should do?

I have an old Audio Control EQ with the HU...It's great. It was the last thing I did (except for my subwoofer), and I think in hindsight that I may have been able to EQ the system into shape without changing spkrs and adding amps.

You should definitely try one. You'll be far better equipped to tweak the sound to your liking.
