Is this a good price?

I just got my G35 coupe last week and am putting a system in it. I just got a bid for parts and professional install, and was wondering if you could give me some feedback as to if this is a good price. Thanks! This whole install will be right at $4500.

Eclipse AVN2454 HU $1960

Focal 165KF 6.5" $470

Focal 6x9 $210

JL Audio 10w3 sub $160

Rockford Fosgate 400 watt mono amo for sub $130

Rockford Fosgate 100x4 amp for 6.5" & 6x9 $160

Double Din conversion and Finish piece $310

Custom install on the iPod like Fasteddy in the Nav box

All amp kit and wiring $115

INSTALL FOR EVERYTHING $1200
Is this Good???

that's a LOT for the install!!! back when i was in college, i had purchased an amp, new stereo deck, eq and speakers for my car and had plan on having a place install it for me as i always had done. my friends convinced me to do it myself and showed my how. believe me, it was very easy and i saved at least $500. the installation costs that car audio places charge is highway robbery, i tell you. for a few hours of work, they charge like they're doctors or something.

honestly, try checking out some of the dyi's posted on this forum. you will save quite a bit of money. furthermore, it's always good to know yourself how the system is set-up so if you run into problems later, you can troubleshoot yourself or upgrade the system yourself too.

my install is running over 6k and thats without amps or subs. also id scrap the focal 6x9s and go with their cheaper coaxials for the rear.

seems very high.

Have you tried shopping around online?

I got some good deals a couple years ago by going to different places.

And don't do it yourself unless you want to start ripping stuff up and splicing wires.
I did some stuff on my last car, after splicing into the fourth wrong wire trying to find a remote switch wire, you begin to wonder if you should have paid for a clean install.

wow!that install price is way too high.
how many g35 have they done.
they will probably use the double-din guide off this site anyways.
i agree to scrapping the 6x9s in the rear.
