Recommendations on car DVR please

Hello!
A while back a car backed up into me and then we shared our information and I thought I'd be getting my bumper fixed.
NOPE he told the insurance I drove into his rear and he won the case.
Same thing happened to my friend so he got a car DVR for ~$50 on amazon.

I am looking for one as well that will work with my OEM Nav screen on my 2005 coupe.
I am hoping to spend $50~90.

Any recommendations?
(I am staying away from the one my friend got because it focuses on the dirt of the windshield and makes everything else kind of blurry)

Yes, he's looking for an in car camera that saves videos to a DVR. I've actually considered this too but just don't know which one to get.

Cool. I would have to find a way to hardwire through the dash somehow...Hmm.

Give up on trying to use the OEM nav screen, you can buy a standalone display for less than the adapter required.

What do you mean?
Got one you recommend as an example?

I mean, the adapter to use the OEM nav screen is over $100.

There's tons of options for less if all you're looking for is a display that runs on standard 12v vehicle power and has an RCA input.

Take your pick.
