Upgrading my 05' g35 coupe stock radio to aftermarket - need suggestions

So I have the nav system and premium sound. I'd like to get a single din dashkit due to the price, and since I dont really need another screen. Best Buy only sells metra. Are there better dash kits? I was reading that the JDM fits much better, but its an extra 200$. Also, what kind of aftermarket radio would you guys recommend?

O, I meant the JDM was an extra 200$, so all in all 300$+ not including installation and not including the actual radio.

Yes. You need to buy it. If you ask why, you will receive an infraction for failure to use the search.

Aside from the other responses.... I used the metra kit and it works just fine. Yes the buttons look cheaper but I'm not dropping an additional $200 for JDM..... As the stickys will tell you you can not use the stock dash piece and modify it. Read the stickys! For the metra kit I HIGHLY recommend going double din!!! The single dins just don't mount very well in my opinion AND the little cubbie hole seems to not fit very nicely. There are many double dins out there without a screen such as

Amazon.com: Pioneer FH-X700BT In-Dash Double DIN CD/MP3/USB Car Stereo Receiver w/ Bluetooth, Pandora Link, MIXTRAX & iPod Support: Electronics Amazon.com: Pioneer FH-X700BT In-Dash Double DIN CD/MP3/USB Car Stereo Receiver w/ Bluetooth, Pandora Link, MIXTRAX & iPod Support: Electronics

Amazon.com: Clarion CX501 Double-DIN CD/Bluetooth/USB Receiver: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Clarion CX501 Double-DIN CD/Bluetooth/USB Receiver: Car Electronics

Amazon.com: Alpine CDE-W235BT In-Dash Double DIN CD/MP3/USB Car Stereo Receiver w/ Bluetooth, iPod Control and Front Aux: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Alpine CDE-W235BT In-Dash Double DIN CD/MP3/USB Car Stereo Receiver w/ Bluetooth, iPod Control and Front Aux: Car Electronics

I have the appradio and love it but it has a screen which you don't want. DO NOT buy through BestBuy, it's a flippin rip off. Do your time and order from Amazon or Ebay and save yourself $75. PM me for a side conversation and I'll send you pics of my metra install.

Can anyone explain this diagram to me a little better? How are 6 speakers running off this amp and is this the right diagram for the 2007 coupe? Thanks

The bose amplifier creates the woofer channel from the four full-range channels.

The colors change from the headunit to the amp, and from the amp to the speakers, so I'm not going to type everything out here - The diagrams you need are here: http://psedog.com/cars/fsm/g35/coupe/2007/av.pdf - start on page 17.
