Amp cooling fan/plexi question
I became lazy at the end of my install and just screwed my amps to the carpet in the trunk. Im looking to make a nicer rack and found one very close to the one i want :

the goal is to make one close to this to get the amps off the ground and protected. also to clean up the install a bit. but i had some questions about this.
i see people closing up their amps in these little spaces. i was going to throw 2 small computer fans in there . one of either side of the box. one aimed in, the other out.
my question is will this be enough to cool them off? will it cool them off too much?
how much space would be needed between the amp and the glass (considering the fans wil be in there)
also, my subs are in the trunk, in the area on the sides (coupe). if i block the back seat with this rack, will i lose alot of sound in the front of the car? one idea was to build the frame but keep it pretty hollow and just throw carpet over it. this way, i get all of the support and shape needed, but sound can pass right through the carpet
thanks for the help everyone!
