Post Ac/Radio fix

Hey guys, This is long one but i would appreciate any help/advice from you guys.

i just got my 03 G35 coupe 2 weeks ago. (83k miles) Uploaded pix..
but lately my radio and whole dash is giving me headache. I read some threads about this common problem, but didn't find All answers.

it was working perfect until i took out cd and it gave me some kind of error.. next day whole dash wouldn't work. it would get back to normal only when car is off for couple of hours(for the first 3-4 days it was like that) but still wouldn't fix the "error" problem when i put it on CD. And theres no cds inside.

After 3-4 days all buttons on ac and radio wouldn't work no matter what.. Ac is blowing full on my face, but it turns from high to low itself while I'm driving or when car is turned on for 5-10 mins. SO when i turn car on its on full, those bars are all the way till the end. after 5-10 mins it start going down and stops on 2 or 1.

As for radio i can control it from steering wheel but when car is running for bout an hour, skipping stations from steering wheel may just turn the radio off. And power button on steering wheel wouldn't turn it on. it will just turn on by itself in 1-2 minutes and then u can change station.
If u turn radio off, give it about 20-30 seconds it will turn on by itself, so pretty much the only way to not listen to radio is turn the volume all the way down. Sometimes it even shuts off when i turn my window all the way up. not when i roll it up halfway or leave a little open. but when i pull that button all the way up so that it will roll window up automatically, and gives same problem that skipping stations giving me.

Now is this something new or is it the same common problem? If i just instal double din and put after market radio (pioneer as an ex.) will this fix the problem that i have or i have something else going on in there?

It's got the symptoms of a bad headunit, so you at least have to replace it to diagnose if there's anything else failing.

It sounds like your car is/was possessed. Expensive fix but atleast you won't be going crazy anymore.

1400's cost around 279 new with navigation ready to install. spent 550 total with metra and antenna adapters. with installation. (100 for installation) i think its worthed instead of listening to radio with JB songs and ac blowing to ur face.....
