Questions for Install.

I just got my Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD today. Now I'm just waiting for the DD part. But with this head unit, theres the parking break wire and this is my first head unit install. I've watched a couple video and read up on it and I believe I get everything what to do with the parking break wire. Should I just order the switch/rely thing or will it just connect to the rest of the cords with no problems?

Seeing as how that unit doesn't have a GPS for a passenger to enter routes into while you're driving, nor does it have a second zone for video output for people in the rear seat to view, the only thing you'd gain would be to have videos playing forward of the driver, which is illegal in just about everywhere.

Due to this, I'd recommend just hooking up the parking brake wire as usual, no bypass.

And that cord is with the rest of the wires right?

It's usually a quite long, separate wire, it'll be separate from the harness if it has one, with it's own little label on it.
