first, i got the idea from g35ipod.com. but i put it in a diff. place. in the first pic u couldnt tell that an ipod was playing over the radio. u cant even see it. then in the other pix u see it and how i did it was i got a cover of an art book that was black cardboard but looked like leather. then i fit it perfectly to the holster and made my slit in it where my ipod docker was and where i could see it from the drivers seat. it works very good. u can slip it in and out of the whole and docker very very easy and fast. i have a playlist so i just put on the list then close the arm rest.

p.s.- removal of the cup holders is a must to do this.

I too was thinking along these lines, but I imagine myself always wanting to change tracks/artists etc... I do this all the time since my moods change!

I am still waiting on a great mounting solution to be perfectly placed in front of me, with the screen looking my way... Regardless, looks great!

 

thanks for the complements, if u go to car toys they sell a holder were u can change the music on ur ipod from ur stereo or steering weel, it also shows the song on the stereo screen. its 99.** i believe
