Eclipse AVN Double Din Pics

I have read a lot of posts about the double din conversion but have been unable to find anyone who has actually installed a double din screen. Does anyone have pics of a double din screen installed where the factory HU goes? I think the only two who make a double din screen are Eclipse and Kenwood. I was leaning towards Eclipse, but I want to see pictures of the screen installed first. Please post any pics that you have!!!

No, I lost the steering wheel controls on my install. But I have heard that there is an aftermarket product that will interface with the AVN [I assume via its IR sensor] and enable the steering wheel controls to work again.

What about the Eclipse AVN 5495

That setup with your eclipse looked really nice. I just recently came over an add for the next gen eclipse HU, built-in 30GB HDD, nav, all the goodies. There isn't much on the internet, even through google, i was trying to find out pricing info, but it's scheduled to come out this april. It was featured at the 2005 CES. If anyone comes across the pricing info, let us know. Thanks.

I'd love to see more info on the new Eclipse as well. Nav, HD for music... would be very sweet. Another good option would be the Pioneer Avic D-2 and the iPod connetor, but then you have to drop almost $500 to get the ipod and cable, but at least it gives you on screen control and an easy way to add/remove music - just take the ipod and go!

How the hell to you get your car so damn clean? Your car literally looks like a car from a magazine (2nd pic anways) ...The lighting is magically perfect and there isn't a spec of dust. Look at your screen

vs.

Same product but yours looks 100x better

Is the New Eclipse unit with the 30GB HD you're talking going to replace the current top model AVX2494 w/ 20gb HD??? I think the AVX2494 was running about $3000 when I checked the 2 AVX models and the AVN.

Remember that Eclipse is made by Fujitsu....

How are you able to access the satelite radio, and other systems that you would use with the stock system. Does the eclipse radio already have presets for different buttons?
