500$ budget for a new sound system in my 04 G35x

Hey guys I just replaced the stock bose unit with a Pioneer 3400 double din. I would like to replace all the speakers and amp, but I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to audio tech. If I had a budget of about 500.00 for the speakers and amp, what could I get? I'm not looking for anything overtop (hence the 500.00 limit), just something better than the stock Bose equipment. Should I go to pioneer for speakers? Maybe Infinity?

Don't do Pioneer or infinity.

Just do two channels with good component speakers up front, like this:

And of course, you'll need a amp installation kit and speaker wire:

Great! Thanks for pointing those out! One question/problem. After installing the Pioneer 3400 I noticed that when I connect my HTC Evo 4G via bluetooth and begin streaming music, the tweeters sound awful. Whenever I play a song that has high notes, I can hear this crackling noise. The odd part is when I connected my Evo via the aux, everything was fine. Is this just an issue with my phone's bluetooth streaming?

Yep, the first thing to go in audio quality will be the high notes, the total bluetooth data stream is limited and will be shared with whatever else you're doing with it, like being paired to another device for phone use.

The data layer also provides services like synchronization, image transfer, remote control and network access. The bandwidth is shared by all these services, so if you are streaming audio and trying to do other things, you may get dropouts."
I never noticed much quality loss when using my iPod, but from my phone (Nokia N8) paired with the radio for bluetooth calls, the quality drop is noticeable.
