I replaced my stock radio with a Double DIN upgrade about a year or so ago...~14 mo. I chose to use the Pioneer P3200BT unit. All was fine until last week. The screen display has faded to a near all-white, and just very faint contrasting images in gray tone squished to 1/3 of the screen. Audio works, but the controls are nearly unmanagable.

The repair estimate is ~$285 plus shipping! I am reluctant to buy another Pioneer unit if they all suffer from similar problems. It was a big deal to me to spend $1,000 to do this conversion, and now ... are these units really that flaky that I should expect to buy a new head unit every year and a half?

Has anyone had similar experience?
